In its complete or partial form, the HSL 2.75G Femtocell can be used as a platform to produce a femtocell device specific to your requirements. This device can then be marketed and sold by your organisation.

The HSL 2.75G Femtocell provides a hardware and software platform robust and capable of delivering new and exciting functions and services. We will provide you with the hardware and software for our femtocell and support from our engineers. The rest is up to you.

The femtocell can be provided as it normally ships, including layer 1 and layer 2/3 software from HSL, but without the HSL BSC so that you can use the femtocell with your own BSC. We would supply the A-bis interface specification to enable you to do this.

The femtocell could alternatively be supplied with only the layer 1 software in order for you to develop the layer 2/3 software yourself. For this you would need the layer 1 API from us and a suitable development environment.

However, you may simply wish to trial or experiment with our femtocell and BSC. For this we can put femtocells and a BSC within your reach.
